Our Food Dens are modern with EFTPOS services available in all parts of the South Island.

Compostable packaging / Sustainable practices

The Food Den has spent years working with our packaging suppliers and only stock recyclable or compostable  PLASTIC FREE packaging. (we consider compostable as the ability to compost fully within 3 months outside of commercial facilities)
Our onsite yard facilities includes 10kw Solar generation, LED lighting used in all food trailers, kitchen and storage. 50,000 ltr rain water storage tanks for cleaning and irrigation, recycling, Composting and our own wormfarm ensure we’ve minimised negative impacts on the environment.

Food Preparation & Safety

The Donut Den has a mature proven Food Control Plan and is audited 18 monthly in recognition of our best practices within the industry. A number of our senior staff have an Advanced Food Safety certificate as part of our quality assurance.
